Matthew Brown was born in southern New Hampshire and raised in Maine. Art has been a big part of his life since a very young age and eventually led him to tattooing beginning in 2008. In December 2011, Matthew quit his regular job to pursue tattooing full-time. Focus turned to black and grey realism tattoos and just over nine years later, Matthew continues to support his wife Melly and son Silas with his relentless passion for art. The majority of his career in tattooing has been in southern Maine until moving to New Hampshire in 2017 to be closer to medical facilities in Boston for his son Silas. Matthew still visits tattoo shops in southern Maine to work a few times a year and spend some time in the beautiful state of Maine.
