Featured Artist Polly Hill

Polly Hill lives in Edinburgh, UK and works full time in medicine. Having been told by her high school art teacher she had no discernible artistic talent, she stopped painting and pursued a scientific career in cardiovascular physiology. She serendipitously discovered an interest in art after attending a sip and paint event while living in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA. Having moved to Edinburgh three years ago she focused on watercolors and now paints every day and enjoys exhibiting her artwork on Instagram. Polly captures visions of nature from an etheral aspect using the unpredictable fluidity of watercolors to achieve a delicate yet vibrant effect.
